Mildly Interesting Stuff About a Somewhat Interesting Person - Part 1
Hello all,
This is part one out of many of the segments on myself known as MISASIP (acronyms are cool, right?) I know it was supposed to go up last Monday, you'll have to excuse its tardiness, I had a busy week at university. Also, please excuse the lack of the news segment on Friday. I was away in Spain for the weekend accompanying my mom so I didn't have time to post such a thorough piece. And yes, I did miss this week's Monday post, but that was the day I got back from Spain, got home late in the afternoon and then took a much needed nap.
To compensate I'll be making one big news piece, mostly because a lot happened last week, as well as this week, and I want to talk about it. I would write a longer piece about me but I feel like that would get boring, therefore I'll just keep it at its normal length. Anyway, a quick recap of last week before all the thorough stuff. The Game Awards 2015, Nintendo NX news, a new Batman v. Superman trailer, Krampus, and more! You'll see what happened this week tomorrow, so I won't recap the week now.

Anyway, that's for tomorrow. Onto stuff about me!
MISASIP - Part 1
So I'm Camilo, as you may already know. I'm half-Colombian and half-Italian, and in my eyes, both those nationalities are quite exotic, so I'm happy. I'm currently living in Manchester and I attend the University of Salford, where I'm studying English and Creative Writing. So far it's going well and next week Thursday, along with the rest of my course-mates, I'll have finished my first semester of university! Oh, and I'll also be watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens that same day. *Cue the main Star Wars theme*
Anyway, that's where I am in life at the moment. Obviously there are more things going on but I'll just keep it simple for now. But where have I been in the past?
Well, a couple of places actually. Since I moved out of Colombia in 2006 I've lived in four other countries, those being The Maldives, Bangladesh, England, and most recently, Ghana. Until 2012 it had just been my mom, my stepdad and I, but that year we got a new member in our small family. My little sister Leila. She's pretty cool for a three year old. Probably a lot cooler than I was at that age. I wouldn't know, most of my memories from that age are as fuzzy as the image on the old TV we used to own. It was one of those where you had to get up to change the channel and move the adjustable antenna on top to get a decent image. But we barely used that, we also had a normal TV. We never really watched much though, unless it was the news, a Formula 1 or a Moto GP race, or me wanting to watch Toy Story or Sesame Street on our VCR. To this day, the original Toy Story is still my favourite movie. I gave my Woody and Buzz Lightyear toys to my sister before I left for university. She liked the toys more than the movie, but she's more interested in princesses so it's understandable. Sadly she's in Ghana and I'm in England, so we can't play nor read, nor watch movies together, but it's nice to know that my family and I can Skype and that I can say hi to my sister, even though she's usually distracted solving a puzzle or singing "Let It Go" for the hundredth time. I'll definitely enjoy being able to spend time with her when I fly to Italy for the winter break.
That's all I have for now, I think I'll keep these between 300 and 500 words. That seems like a reasonable length. I hope you enjoy these, I'll do my best to keep them interesting. As always, leave me feedback if you want, it's always appreciated. The first news segment will be posted tomorrow, so be on the lookout for that.
Thanks for reading!
